FITASC and Super Sporting Championship
Mark on your calanders that Rend Lake is hosting the Illinois State FITASC and Super Sporting Championship. September 6th and 7th 2008. Details to follow.

Illinois State Shooters,



This years Illinois State Shoot at Northbrook Sports Club is shaping up to be the biggest and best yet!



Exciting news includes the addition of $6,000.00 + in purse money for the sub-gauge and 50 bird pump and SxS events. These events are held Thursday AM through Saturday at 3:00 PM and are a blast! This purse is being generously donated by Upland Hunt Club ownership, management, members, and friends. Thank You!



The sub-gauge events will be held on two separate courses this year and we will have trappers/ scorers on the sub-gauge course.



B&P Ammunition has generously sponsored the Thursday Prelim Event. The first 100 shooters in this event will be given 4 boxes of B&P ammo and HOA and Class Winners using B&P ammo in this event will win one case of B&P



For our out-of-state friends, this year we are offering a non-resident purse that pays $250 to Non-Res HOA, and $150 to 1st Runner-up and each class winner.



We hope many younger shooters take advantage of reduced entry fees in the Main Event by opting for the concurrent only option for only $75 plus fees! Shooters under 21 choosing this option will be eligible for punches and resident trophies, but not purses. Bring a kid, it's the future!



Make-A-Break and Competition 5-stands will be run by Ed Prechel of Top-Gun Sports, so we can count on great targets and smooth operation.



Finally sign up in advance for our Saturday night steak dinner, it will be a great meal of grilled Filet Mignon, some drinks, and a great time!

Hall Of Fame
Illinois shooters with enough Hall of Fame points must summit them to the ISCA President by June 1st. The minimum points are 1000. The Hall of Fame criteria is located in our ISCA by laws. The Hall of Fame presentations will be presented at the annual State Shoot General meeting Saturday July 12th at 6:00.

ISCA Secretary Wanted
Billy Lemme is retiring from service as ISCA Secretary. Thanks for your help Billy!



To keep our ISCA Officer positions in balance we are recruiting candidates from the South Zone of Illinois to serve as ISCA Board Secretary. The Secretary will be elected by a majority vote of the membership at the State Sporting Clays Tournament. All ISCA Board Members are required to have a valid internet address for correspondence and balloting purposes. The term of service is two years. The purpose of the secretary is to keep all minutes of ISCA meetings, issue all notices, install some information on our website, and perform other duties as the President or Board may require. We are looking for a Secretary from the South Zone. If one can not be found, one from the North Zone will be selected.

State Shoot Flight Change
In order to accommodate the ISCA General Meeting, North/South Zone & 50 Bird Shoot Off and still allow time for dinner, we have come to a decision to eliminate one of the previously stated flight times. The new flight times for the Main Event are 9:30 am and 1:00 pm.



Please remember that reservations for dinner on Saturday evening must be made in advance. The cost is $20.00 and dinner will consist of Filet with all of the trimmings! These reservations can be made on the State Shoot form which can be obtained either thru the Northbrook Sports Club or ISCA web sites.



For the 100 Bird Preliminary Event on Thursday, July 10th; Northbrook Sports Club will be providing to the first 100 entrants, 4 boxes of Premium B&P Shells. A case of B & P Shells will be awarded to HOA, Runner-up and each Class Winner. A nice incentive to come out early and shoot the preliminary event! Our thanks to B & P for their generosity and support

The ISCA at the State Shoot this year is contributing to Illinois Residents $4000.00 in the Main Event, in added money!



The ISCA is contributing $1,100.00 for the Championship Five Stand,for Illinois Residents!



Northbrook Sports Club is giving $250.00 to HOA $150.00 to Runner Up and $150.00 to Class Champion in the Main Event for Non-Residents!
